Come hear what full immersion sounds like.
VISIT German International School of Texas at Austin
Walk our halls, sit in on a class, and meet the teachers your child will see every day. No German required to — just bring your questions.

Every tour includes a 30-minute walkthrough, a Q&A with lead teachers, and time in an active classroom. Pick what fits your schedule - mornings, evenings, and Saturdays now available, instead of one slot a month.
Zoom info sessions. 20 minutes, any weekday. Great for out-of-area families.
Can't make it? We'll find a time that works.

Before you visit
Do we need to speak German at home?
No. Most of our families don't. Immersion happens at school — teachers speak German throughout the day, and children pick it up the way they picked up their first language.
Is financial aid or a payment plan available?
Yes — we offer sibling discounts and monthly payment plans, and need-based tuition assistance is available for qualifying families. Ask your tour guide, or mention it when you book, and we'll send details before you apply.
When will we hear back after applying?
We respond to every application within 5 business days of submission, and admission decisions for the upcoming school year are communicated by July 31. If you accept a spot, we ask for your signed enrollment agreement within two weeks.
